Welcome. We’re here to cover men’s college basketball in and near Nashville. That means Belmont, Lipscomb, Middle Tennessee, Tennessee State and Vanderbilt. This site will be humming as the season approaches, starting with a preview of each team. During the regular season, we will touch upon all these teams on a regular basis. We aim to be the best site for information on these teams.

A little about me. I’ve spent more than 40 years in sports journalism, first in New York and New Jersey, followed by 24 years at The Boston Globe. I was sports editor there for 14 years, during which I kept up with college basketball by writing the Globe’s “Sully’s Court” blog. Now I’m based in Nashville and keeping up with the college hoops scene here. We hope you’ll follow along.
